We came to this piece all framed up. The frame is solid wood, hand carved and water gilded in 22k by Richard Tobey, with the usual stamp at the back of the frame.
The canvas size is 11 1/4" x 8 3/4"
The outside dimension is 16 3/16" x 18 3/4"

CALIFORNIA LANDSCAPE AND FIGURE PAINTER TIM SOLLIDAY WAS BORN IN 1952 AND WAS INSPIRED BY HIS ARTIST-FATHER TO BEGIN PAINTING. IN THE LATE 1980'S HE STUDIED WITH EARLY CALIFORNIA IMPRESSIONIST, THEODORE N. LUKITS (1897 - 1992). SOLLIDAY'S STYLE OF PAINITING IS REMINISCENT OF TAO'S SOCIETY OF ARTISTS PAINTERS WILLIAM HERBERT DUNTON AND ERNEST MARTIN HENNINGS. SINCE HONING HIS SKILLS, SOLLIDAY'S PAINTINGS HAVE APPEARED IN NUMEROUS PRESTIGIOUS GROUP EXHIBITIONS, INCLUDING AT THE FREDERICK R.
